We are starting to prepare for Christmas around here. The lights have gone up in Toulouse and the Christmas market kicks off on December 10th. Place du Capitole will fill with log cabins serving winter specialities from around France. The mulled wine helps warm up the cold nights. This is also the season for marché au gras in towns and villages throughout the South West. Local farmers and producers come in to sell their geese, ducks, and foie gras. It is also the best time of year for enjoying the powerfully warming and aromatic Armagnac made in Gers and Landes
